Charlotte Cramer Sachs (born September 27, 1907 in Berlin, Germany; died March 11, 2004, New York, NY) was an artist, inventor, entrepreneur, food and wine enthusiast, and an early developer of prepared cake and muffin mixes.[1] Cramer Sachs founded and operated Cramer Products Company (1940-2004) in New York City to manufacture and distribute prepared cake, popover, muffin, and frosting mixes known as Joy Prepared Mixes, primarily during the postwar years.
